Hi,
I myself have a Philips Toucam XS. That's the cheapest one, which Philips
doesn't support for MacOS 8/9.
However they use the CameraChip from Omnivision Technologies. On their
website there are several Mac-drivers for their chips.
The Toucam XS works with USBOVT8 extension. With this extension and BTV from
www.bensoftware.com the webcam works great. Also other Webcam programs (for
example ISPQ Videochat from http://www.ispq.com/downloads/) work with this
extension.
You can download the extention at http://www.ovt.com/ov_downloads.html

Good luck,
