I have xlr8 carriers in my 9600 and 7500 and both are just as dependable 
as the original processors. The 9600 has a G4/450 and the 7500 has a 
G3/233 running at 250MHz. The best thing about these cards is that the 
bus speed and multiplier are adjustable. Slower ZIFs are cheap now as 
Beige G3 and B&W G3/PCI G4 owners upgrade.
