I have one printer connected to a USB card that works very well and prints
normally, with one connected to the printer port.  I've had no driver issues
with the USB card and printers connected to it; no problems.  She could
probably also connect the Laserprinter to the network port with a crossover
cable.

Could she also connect both serial printers, one to the printer port and one
to the modem port?  I don't think I ever tried that...
