Hi, I recently inherited a Global Village 56 modem, but so far I've been unsuccessful in getting it to work with my PowerMac 7300. I use OS 9.1, and in the modem control panel, I've tried to select one at a time each of the four Global Village modem scripts:
Global Village 28.8-K56 Global Village Gold/Silver/Merc Global Village Platinum/Gold II Global Village x2 Global Village 28.8-K56 None has worked, so I had to switch back to my slower but very dependable Supra 336 Sp. More printed specs on this Global Village modem: This 56 modem was made in Canada, and its full name is -- Teleport 56 Fax/Modem, Model A824 Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
