Everything apparently worked fine with 128 MB. Do you see any reason for me
to buy extra memory? I don't use more than a couple of programs at a time. I
understand if virtual memory is turned off, the computer will respond
faster.
Your better off having as much RAM as you can afford. With RAM prices what they are today, theres no reason not to max it out. You may not need all of the RAM today but who knows what you may chose to run on the machine. Some graphics files will eat up RAM. Pro Tools eats RAM for lunch. About the minimum you'd want to run is 512 mb.
