you should definately remove all norton disk doctor extensions and 
stop using filesaver and nortonvirus or crashguard - because the 
create trouble. the extension called norton shared lib is needed but 
it can just as fine reside in the norton application folder. norton 
is very good - those 3 are to be avoided, and maybe there is an 
automatic upgrade for norton aswell, that you don't really need.
