No, that won't. The problem is that something is running that's telling ip to open a connection, and Remote Access is permitting it. In fact, making the ip stack dynamically unload can cause instabilities in all but the latest versions of Open Transport (that shipped in OS 9.2.2). There are also memory fragmentation issues.
