Printer cannot be found

I HATE this! After all the problems I had losing the printer in the 
Chooser every time I reset things to connect 2 Macs via printer ports 
or ethernet, I was told I HAD to use an ethernet connection and 
LaserWriter Bridge. Why, when it worked previously without the bridge?

Anyway, I connected the printer with an ethernet dongle and 
LaserWriter Bridge. This worked fine... until i disconnected the 
entire schamoozle to move it to another table. Today i tried to 
print... and "... the requested printer could not be found". 
Wonderful!! Having rechecked the thing several times, I'm  about 
ready to jump up & down on the dongle.

Ideas?

9600/200/G3/1.5gb/OS9.1/LaserWriter Pro 630 using LaserWriter 8 driver.
