It has been so long since i zapped the pram that i have forgotten how to do it.
If zapping does not work, she should remove and replace all RAM. [this should fix a loose RAM seating]
If that fails she should search for a dead ram stick.
My Girlfriend has a 7500/G3-250/150meg/3gig/8.6
Just the other day, it failed to startup. She gets the initial 'bong', hear
a bit of drive activity, but the video never comes on, and nothing else
happens.
Attempting to start with extensions off makes no difference. Anybody? Thanks.
Does it start up with the three finger salute? (cmd-ctrl-power) My 8500/G3 sometime does nothing immediately after the startup chime, but usually will get going after one or two cmd-ctrl-power procedures.
