This is probably OT but I really don't want to sign up for another list just to find out if I need to trash a nubus computer. I've got a Performa 6320 that has been up to now completely faithful for 8 years. The drive died about a month ago and we replaced it with another drive. Everything ran just fine until this afternoon. I did get a failed start up yesterday with a nubus error warning but it worked fine after a forced reboot.
I tried to power it up from the keyboard and got nothing. No chime, no sound. I put in a OS CD and still nothing. Is this machine history? The only reason I'm attached to it is because it has a TV tuner card in it and I like to watch TV while working on my PCI Mac (see a little on topic). Since funds are non-existant, thanks to the current economy, can I save this machine or move that lovely TV tuner card to another computer? I have a 6116 lying around, some older 6XX performas, and I think a 7100 or 7200. Linda -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
