Hi-- I installed Acrobat 5 and used it for a couple days with no problems. Today it freezes on startup. I havent' changed anything else that I know of. I did the DiskWarrior, optimize, check with TTPro3, rebuild desktop things and the problem is still there.
I suppose I'll have to try reinstalling Acrobat? I'm wondering if there's any known problems listers here can help me with.
Acrobat is flakey. It crashes often on me. Sometimes turning off ATM helps. This forces Acrobat to use its own ATM stub.
But, a long shot perhaps... Obtain and install the Font Manager Update from Apple. It fixes some serious font corruption problems in OS 8.6.
