Will the Cinema Display work on the 7300 built in video with an adapter? I'm not sure, maybe someone else will chime in... If not, and you wanted to use the display, you could install an additional video card that would handle it... but again, I'm not sure whats compatible and what isn't, I'm sure others will chime in soon.
AFAIK, it will not work off the adapter. At least none that I have will. Either there is not enough VRAM or the signals from the computer are not present or not on the right pins. I've had to get video PCI Cards with the VGA plug on them.
