Sounds a bit like the old Grappler 9-pin that I used with my old Apple IIgs
and my Epson MX-80 printer.  It may, or may not support ink jet printers,
but, it might just fit the bill.  If there is a driver for it, it'd
probably be on the Mac Driver Museum (probably fire up Google to do a
search, since, I don't have the web address handy)...
