If you read the fine print, XLR8 notes that pre-G3 Powermacs with G3/G4 processor upgrades can get "scrambled" if PRAM is zapped. It's true. The remedy is the Emergency floppy disk we are instructed to create. Slide it in when the Question Marl/Can't Find a System Boot Disk warning areas and NVRAM is reset and the computer reboots. I just keep a floppy drive on hand that can be re-attached just for the recovery. Good company no longer in business that continues to bail me out!
