This is a resend as the listmom sent a letter saying that most of my mail was bouncing. Maybe (with luck) that's why I had no responses...we'll try this again.
I'm having space disappear on my hardrive; about a gig comes & goes. I think (so far) that when I stop using the RAM disk, the storage returns to its full 1.3 remaining. Otherwise, it drops to about 360mb. Rebuilding and or zapping temporarily brings back full memory/space but only for a short while.. I have put another system on a different partition and it does the same thing......Also, I think I remember starting off another hard drive a couple weeks ago and it gave an error on startup that said "the RAM disk cannot be used with this computer" or something to that effect....anyone have a clue to help me get this back on its feet? thanks, John -- PCI-PowerMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
