I see that there is a little blurb with URLs on page 27 of the July MacAddict about how Quartz Extreme (designed for AGP video) can be enabled on a PCI Mac with a Radeon PCI video card.
Can we do this ????
Has anyonr tried ???
I use it on my B&W witht 2 radeon7k mac edition and one pc 7k 64mb flashed and 5 monitors...and even expose in Panther is nice. it does however, have some caveats, mostly that the first frame in video is tinted red, but that fixes itself when you play.
