If I have the ram disk is on/selected with say 100mb, the hardrive will within a day or so, lose about a gig of space, If I go back to the memory control panel and turn off the Ram disk, the memory/space reappears on the startup drive and seems to remain proper until I again select the option to use the RAM disk....... I have been running 1 gig of RAM memory for a couple of years using the RAM disk as a cache for programs without a hitch till recently. Virtual memory is not on as I do have a gig of true memory. The space on the hard drive disappears (about a whole gig), not the RAM memory..If I turn off the RAM disk, the hard drive space magically reappears and everything seems stable until I try to use the aRAM disk again......Sorry if I was unclear and I hope this is better!.
