You have - essentially - at least one 2G HD from which you start. And you have a Ram disk sometimes running on it, right? You set the disk to use how much ram? And when you stop using it, what exactly do you stop? Do you go to the memory panel and uncheck the option and restart? Sorry, but perhaps you could be more detailed and say what the problem is as it happens in the order in which it happens. A Ram Disk takes up the Ram space you assign in the memory control panel, it is reserved. So obviously, switching it on and off will make Ram come and go ....
