I'm new to G3 cards. I have a Sonnet Crescendo G3 300Mhz. When I first got his machine ASP showed it as consistently running at 337 Mhz. But lately it only shows as 306 Mhz. I don't remember changing anything.
Does anyone have an idea about how I can get this back up or was it a fluke reading in the first place ?
The CPU results reported by ASP with 3rd party G3 cards should generally be ignored. It very rarely gets it right. Use the software supplied by Sonnet to verify the G3 speed and L2 cache are functioning.
