would like to know if anyone put an 8500 board in 7600 case, will the PS fit
and which one to use, or can I just move the video/in out socket from the 8500
to the 7600 and get the benefit of the video out signal ?

Remove the 7600 mobo and A-V connector.

Install the 8500 mobo and A-V connector.

Transfer DRAM and VRAM to the 8500 mobo, as necessary and required.

Connect 7600 PSU to 8500 mobo.

Flame on!
