My son found an 8500 w/an LCD screen at the local Salvation Army store for
$25. It was well worth it for the screen alone, but I would like to update
the 8500 a bit for my daughter to use at school. As I've heard - and learned
from personal experience - it is a BEAR to do anything to. Is there
somewhere I can find instructions on how to upgrade RAM and hard drives? The
manuals available online don't seem to cover it.

It really does make me appreciate my 8600 even more!

Thanks,

Jack
