Okie Dokie here, I've managed to get simple file sharing between my Athlon
XP comp @ 1.6GHz with Microsloth Windows 2000 Server and my Power Macintosh
7300/180 with Mac OS 7.5.5. Is there any way for me to make my mac get an
internet connection from the PC without paying bookoo bucks for virtual PC
or something of the sort, or a later Mac OS?
Thanx,
ES
I believe that Windows XP has internet sharing built in. If you're sharing a broadband connection, you're going to have to get an additional ethernet card for the XP box, and then plug your mac into a hub connected to that ethernet card (or use a crossover cable) and set your mac to get it's IP address automatically.
