Thanks to all who made suggestions. I am not sure which solution made the difference because I checked and did several things before I retried it. If I had to guess I would say it was a loose processor card. When I first checked it it felt snug but when I double checked it and put more pressure on one end I felt it seat further down by just the tinniest amount.
