I trashed all of my Eudora settings files (v6.0b18) and now the scrolling problem is cured.

I managed to reactivate the mailboxes in the Mailboxe menu. But... can't get the addresses in the Address Book (or "New Message To:", nor my mailboxes or signatures (the correct mailboxes are in the System:Documant folder, but isn't working). Also the In & Out mailboxes seem to be old ones, not the current ones, and so I can't acess quite a few messages stored there.

I can't even FIND the address book under this name... Sherlock only comes up with netscape when I search. Is what I want the Nicknames file? There are 35 according to Sherlock... one older version has:
nickname - address
The other 34 are later editions with:
alias - nickname - address
AND
note - nickname - address book details

I hate it when I update to a new version, because I end up with a clutter of old & new Eudora Files and items seem randomly scattered in them, in my Applications and Settings: Documents folders. Should I be keeping just one copy, that in the System: Documents? What can I delete?

Instructions please!
