You're not the only one who loses the address book - I always lose mine each time I have to reinstall the application. There's something in the way Eudora stores its addresses that can't always be saved when you trash preferences, even if I save Eudora Folder (inside system folder) to keep track of all mailboxes. I now backup everything to a CD-RW including the system folder so I don't lose important files. Unlike version 5.1 and up I haven't experienced the autoscroll bug.
