Hi all; I've glanced at this thread over the last few days and thought I'd get in my 2 cents. From personal experience all the Quadra 630 form factor Macs up to and including the Beige G3's all used the same floppy drive. (At least on the ones I have,631CD, 638CD, 6230, 2 6360's & 2 G3's). I have 3 Macs networked in my house and I use the floppies so little that every time I do need to use one to reinstall some old S/W, I usually find the silly thing won't work. I run my little cleaner thingie in it and it's good to go. I'd try cleaning it first as I find that usually fixes it. HTH --Thanks; Rev.
