I don't see the point in putting a PCI wireless card on my 8500 or other Mac since running a cable to them is no problem but I would like to have a wireless card for my iBook. (Of course, if I buy the 802.11b card Apple will come out with a 802.11g 54Mbps card for iBooks the following week. My cable internet speed for the service I am about to install appears to max out at 1.5 Mbps, so no big deal there but I'm sure there are other network tasks that could benefit). What about third party cards for the iBook?
I'm just interested in the experiences of this list in this area and gets some brands names to do some price comparisons. Lot's of popular name routers with good rebate offers now.
Thanks, Mike
