On the 8.6 upgrade I am attempting, I partitioned the 2.4 gig drive into 4 using the HFS+. All my old files I am moving were on drives formatted just HFS. Wuld this cause me problems? I really need my PhotoShop to wrok on this machine.
I'm not exactlly sure what you are asking, but there should be no problem moving files from HFS disks to HFS+ disks. Also, with just a 2.4 gig drive, why partition it at all. The idea of HFS+ is that is makes excellent use of larger hard drives without wasting space.
