I partitioned my 2.4 gig drive into 4 because: 1. I primarily keep track of thousands of small text files, and wanted them to be as small as possible on the HD. So one paritition for startup, system and applications [700mb] and one just for Documents [700].
2. one partition is an entire backup of my 540c [7.5.3 rev2/325HD]. And for older, archived 68k s/w. [700]. 3. a 300+mb parition for the photoshop scratch disk. Does this make sense? Would one less partition make a difference for efficiency? Also, I think part of my troubles with 8.6 on the 6400 is some missing scripts. In the Dialects folder, is there anything by default in there other than English Dialect? __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
