Greetings, I am new to the list so hope I am not the 500th person in
a row to ask this questions but here goes...

I have a PowerMac 4400 that until the other day had been running just
great. The other day the machine appeared to start up (hard drive
sounds, chime, light) but I got no video at all - just a dark screen
that looked like the monitor was off. I tried swapping monitors and
tried alternating with each of the 2 video outs in the machine (one
builtin, one a voodoo3). Still just a black screen - the monitor
light on each test (and for both monitors I tried) remained amber
instead of the healthy green. Not a flicker of video life.

Any suggestions, advice, ideas?

Thanks,

vr
