In Mail (OS X), to send a message, under "Message", "Send Message" there are next to the "Send Message" command a up arrow, then the "Command" or "Apple" key, the the letter "D". Which key does the "up arrow" pertain to?
Also, in the same menu, "Mark as read" has a goofy looking character, then "Command/Apple", then the letter "M". What's the goofy character?
I come from the *NIX world, and the Windoze world, and I prefer to keep my hands on the keyboard if possible. If I could figure out how to use the keyboard shortcuts, this would make life a lot easier for me in my new "Mac" life!
Thanks
