Sorry if this has been definitively answered. Some of the postings on this subject sorta point me to a "no" answer, but I just want to be sure.

Question: is there any way I can upgrade the 128 MB RAM limit on my PowerMac 6500 (168-pin, 2 slots, DIMM).

The reason I've still got a shred of hope is that I received this from Sonnet when I asked the same question:

Dave, to answer your question, Sonnet does not make any RAM for your system. Although if you figure that your are stuck with a max of 128MB, that was probably just the Apple Spec for that machine when it was released. Now there are larger RAM modules available, so you should be able to upgrade to a larger RAM capacity.

Is there anything available/anything that can be done? Thanks.

Dave
