Thanks to everyone who responded to my post concerning used modem issues
and personal favorites on brands. I was given an external Global Village
TelePort 56K Fax/Modem (Model A824) by a friend who just got a new computer. The
bad news is that he no longer has the power adapter that came with it. Does
anyone know the proper voltage power adapter to use on these Global Village A824
modems. When I called around at the local electronic supply shops the first
thing they wanted to know was the voltage and I have no idea. Thanks again.

Harry
