I just ran into a peculiar problem. I have a PM 6500/225 that will not recognize my LaCie 2GB external hard drive. Every other Mac I have (Color Classic, Classic II, SE/30, PM 8500 and IIfx) "sees" it during startup and it works just fine. It doesn't matter if I have the termination power on or off (selectable on the LaCie). Just to muddy the waters a little more I have an original Apple external hard drive (850MB and ) that IS recognized by the 6500 along with the rest of my stable. Any ideas? Thanks!
