Hi:

I have a slight problem with my 1.4 Mb floppy disk drive. At least two
refrigerator magnets were placed inside the floppy disk drive for at least a
minimum of 24 hours. I removed them once I found out, probably too late.
Then, I tried to boot up the PowerMac. Fortunately, it booted up with no
problems. But when I tried to access the floppy drive, it would not read my
disks, which the PowerMac 7500 could read beforehand.

So, I believe, the 5v Mitsubishi MF335F 2592MA floppy disk drive is lost. My
problems are as follows:

1). How do I disconnect the floppy drive?
2). Is the connection removed from the disk drive or from the motherboard?
3). What can I use in it's place?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

David
