I've used the PDFWriter Chooser extension that came on my Starmax for
years, originally on OS 7.6 and later on 8.1. I liked it so much I moved
it to my Beige G3 when the Starmax became "network backup". However, with
recent upgrade to OS 9.2.2 my PDFWriter complains that I need ATM 3.6 or
better and font substitution on. I cannot get the ATM control panel to
stick. I enable it with Extensions Manager, but it is not listed with the
control panels. I installed Acrobat Reader 5 but that did not solve it
either.

Any ideas?

Rich,
Look for the control panel at the bottom of your pull down menu, not at the top
near Appearance and Appletalk. It's the last one in my list. I think the version
you need is 4.6. Regards, Roman
