Hi Eric, The honest truth is that Win98 has the capacity for sharing the Internet, but it is very unreliable.
You don't need anything special. If you have managed to setup ICS on the Win98 computer, you should by rights be able to setup TCP/IP on your PM to get a DHCP address, and you will be on your way .... There are several rather good Internet sharing packages that work quite well on the PC you might like to try and install to make it work better. Wingate, WinProxy and 602Lan Suite all do a reasonable job, and cost-effectively too. However, if you have any option, upgrade the laptop to Win2K or Windows XP.
