Hi, I have a 9500/G3 ZIF upgrade with an XLR8 Carrier Card, 272 MB RAM, a Sonnet ATA-66 card with a 7200rpm 40GB hard drive, and a firewire card. I am running OS 9.1 on it and I'm trying to use iMovie2 (last version for Classic). I'm able to download and edit videos in iMovie2, but when I export the edited movie back to the DV Cam the sound stutters after about a couple of minutes into the export (it sounds like when you talk into a fan). The stuttering comes and goes, but the picture seems fine. Anyone know how to solve the stuttering problem? BTW it plays back perfectly on the computer and the firewire card has been tested on my B&W and works just fine on it (exports great on the B&W).
Could it be a RAM issue (not enough physically and allotted to iMovie2)? I've given iMovie2 about 200MB of RAM but I still get some stuttering.
