Hi there,
Does anyone know of a good independent (of the browser) pop-up eliminator that will run with my 7500 running OS9? It's gotten to the point that if I see a tripod.com site, I don't even bother to go there because of the popups that just keep going like the energizer bunny! Also, is there any way to get rid of those Yahoo "popups" (for lack of a better term) that appear on the side of a page and says "close" on the bottom; if, however, you click on close, it just opens up another window.
One word:
iCab!
An amazingly good browser, currently free, and the popup eliminator built into it just plain works.
I've been using iCab for years and the only time I see popups is if I'm using some other browser.
