I wouldn't be surprised if it uses a BTC (China) IDE CDRW on it. Look for
LG Collins (joint venture between Hitachi and Philips) CDRW IDE with 8MB
buffer on it - it appears to be manufactured for them by Yamaha. A buddy
owns one which he says is virtually indistinguisable from Yamaha except for
the label.

As for me I go for proven SCSI technology.
