Well Tim, I disagree. I currently have a ATI Radion DDR Mac edition in a
Blue & White G3/450 and a Voodoo 5 5500 in a 9600 with a 550 MHz zif and zif
carrier G3 upgrade. The framerates in the 9600 with the UT fly by are 40 fps
average. In the Blue & White I get 45 fps in the fly by. But the big
difference to my eye is the games simply look better in Glide on the 3dfx
card than they look in RAVE with the ATI card. Smoke, fog etc.. render much
more realistic in the Glide API.
