No, the NewerTech card determines the bus speed, and the NewerTech cards 
all elect to run the bus at slightly less than its rated 50 MHz. Perhaps 
because early NewerTech cards were unstable.

In any case, it is major surgery to modify the various speeds on a 
NewerTech G3 card.

It is much easier on the XLR8 ZIF carrier, as all speeds are selectable 
by switch settings.

46+, 47+ and even 48+ MHz are common for NewerTech cards.

I've never seen one which runs the bus at its rated speed, except, 
perhaps for the cards intended for NuBus Macs.
