I'm a newbie to this list and to older Power Macs. I'm picking up a PM5400/120 for my kids to play with. My questions:
1. What OS should I run on this machine? LEM says, "requires System 7.5.1 through 9.1". Does anyone know which OS will give the best stability and performance?
2. I was wondering if I could install a PCI 802.11b card in the 5400 and connect to my existing wireless network. If so, can anyone recommend a source for the card?
3. Instead of a wireless card should I install a PCI USB card and then have 1 available USB port and use the other USB port for a wireless USB device? Again, any recommendations on where I can find these items?
4. A good source for RAM?
Sorry if these are FAQs...thanks! Brian
