I'm trying to get my Logitech optical mouse to work with my Xircom PCI-USB card in my PM7200/120 OS 8.6. Nothing happens. When I open the USB Overdrive control panel, it tells me USB Overdrive was not loaded at startup and I should put USB Overdrive in the Control Panels and restart. Of course I am reading this in the USB Overdrive control panel and have restarted so what am I doing wrong?
How do I get USB Overdrive to load at startup?
You need to have some other software installed.
The first is the Apple USB Card Support 1.4.1
The second is GameSprockets 1.7.5, also from Apple.
Both can be found at the following URL:

Once you have these installed, USB Overdrive should work just fine, unless you have a USB card that doesn't work with your Macintosh. This can happen, as I found out with the first USB card I tried with my Mac.
