Just stick it in. It won't work just like the rest of the system :-P


In general you need either a specifically Mac compatible card or a PC card that's been flashed with Mac Roms, which works on only a few kinds of cards: Voodoo 3(?), 4 and 5 , some PCI ATI Radeon cards, a few others iirc.

Actually, what you really need is a monitor adapter like this: <http://www.national-tech.com/catalog/macvgamonitoradaptors.htm>

Either of the bottom two adapters should do you just fine. The will connect a regular VGA monitor to the Mac's video port.


That and an OS...;-)
