I while ago I emailed asking what to do about my noisy Quantum HD. I quickly replaced it with an old Seagate Barracuda 2GB HD I had. I found this Hard Drive just too noisy, and I decided that I now need a bigger drive. So I looked around I a found a Seagate 9 GB HD (a Barracuda) for a good price. However, before I buy it I would like to know if the drive would be quiet enough for home use.
Can any of you tell me if it is quiet enogh for home use? (Its model number is ST19171WC).
