Yes you can.... Go to http://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/

You'll need this little utility with OS 9.x to help you boot up into the OS
X CD.

I did it with a 8500/132 96Mb RAM. Yes it will be slow, but it can be done.
Best to have lots of RAM and use separate partitions (or separate physical
drives); one for OS 9.x, and the other for OS X....and lots of patience.
