Yes, it does BONG when it starts, though it sounds a bit different from the
first.  Both batteries I believe need to be replaced.  I'm not even sure if
the batteries were ever replaced on either.  What kind of batteries would I
need for the 7500/100 (and for the 7200/90 if you don't mind).

Yeah but one of them works ? right ???
the battery is placed on the motherboard, a small thing under a black plastic "fence", on the left about where the loudspeaker is placed.
If you are unfamiliar with the 7500 inside design, there should be a downloadable help for dissembling, if someone has a link ?
also if you are not that experienced, do one thing at the time, and perhaps start with moving the floppy drive from the nonstarting one to the functionning 7500 ?
