Question 1: Are the slots in the 8500 32-bit?
PCI slots are all 32 bits as a base. Some newer machines have 64 bit slots, but they can all accept 32 bit cards.
Question 2 (better late than never <lopsided grin>): So what board do you folks use for USB 1.1 in your PCI-PM?
I have used both SIIG and Intek 2 port cards without issue.
