Start up with the SHIFT key depressed and trash them, reboot and empty the trash.

I have a 7500/100 running on OS 7.6. I finally did zap the PRAM today but
I still get the same error message. Considering that I don't have a
reference manual on this issue, I was hoping if anyone can tell me the
reference for the error I get when I shut down. I get the Finder error
type 10.
I have to change the battery, this I know. I believe it is a 1/2 AA
battery. But would that give me the Finder error? I know it would give me
an error with respect to the time clock.
